In the sugar industry
polyacrylamide is used for flocculation and precipitation of bagasse in sugar solution to obtain a clear sugar solution. The separation and purification of sugarcane waste molasses can be combined with PAC and PAM.
In the fermentation industry
in the recovery of solid substances in the dilute dregs water separated from alcohol, in the fermentation process of mesobiotics, polyacrylamide is used as a flocculant to achieve high-efficiency flocculation of the mesobiotics fermentation broth
